“Hycel [ The Dog Catcher]” is a dark comedy telling the story of a man who kidnaps dogs for ransom to later return them as a savior in grace and glory. One day, he kidnaps a shepherd dog that turns out to be a stray.

The film won the Gdynia Film Festival by receiving the Best Short Feature Film Award and the Main Prize for the Best Short Film at the International Film Festival in Rhode Island, which gave it the opportunity to compete for an Oscar.
“Hycel” is going to be presented during special screenings for the American Film Academy in Aspen, Colorado, on December 23, 2016-January 3, 2017.
